Yellowstone 2009

We're waiting for Old Faithful along with about 1000 other people.

It is ridiculous how many people flock to this part of the park! This where we ate lunch while we waited for the geyser to go off. The children thought this was great.

You can't go through Yellowstone without seeing buffalo. There were tons of them all over. Did you know that they can float? Who would've thought being as big as they are but we saw a few cross a river. It was pretty neat to see. As we were driving one decided that he needed to walk right down the middle of the road. As you can imagine traffic was backed up for miles. However, see them that close was pretty exciting.

This is a picture of Yellowstone Lake. We stopped at the lodge, did a little shopping, and enjoyed the view. It is soooo pretty there.

These are some mud pots. The boys thought that these were pretty neat. And they thought that they stunk really bad. Which we all know they do!!

These are the SOME of the children, we're missing 2, in for a long, long, long day through the park. I must admit they were all really good.

Some deer? maybe elk. I have no idea but it amazes me that they allow people to get so close to them. People were walking right up to them to get their pictures. Crazy people!!
