SeaWorld

So the day started out terrible. Pouring rain. And I mean really POURING!! We were not sure what we were going to do for sure. Do we go or do we not? That was the question...We had to validate our tickets so we decided to drive over the park and decided from there. While I was waiting in line to get the tickets, Kevin and the kids waited in the car and made the decision that we would go back to the hotel and get their hoodies and rain jackets and brave the weather since the sun was trying to come out. I have to admit that I am glad they decided to stay. There was not many people there. Which was so nice ;)

SeaWorld
Penguin encounter
Tucker feeding the Sea Lions...too bad a seagull got it before the lion did. Darn Birds :(
This lion would sit and talk and talk until someone threw a fish to her.
Waiting for the Sea Lion show...Even the pre-show was entertaining!!
A Sea Lion doing one of his many, many tricks
Big ball of blubber, I mean a really really large Manatee!! Amazing!!
Dolphin pool. They would swim right up to you and let you pet them and feed them.
Pink Flamingo's
Kevin being brave and feeding a Sting Ray...no one else dared!!
Harley reaching for a Starfish. Hardly believable (I wouldn't believe it if I didn't have a picture to prove it :) )
Stratton holding a Starfish
The boys waiting for the BIG show
The girls waiting for the BIG show
A dedication to a lost trainer...She drowned earlier in the week @ the Florida SeaWorld :( Because of this tragic accident that show had been canceled the entire week and we were able to see the 1st show since her death. They modified the show to what they called a "dry show" meaning the trainers would not get into the water with the whales. I must admit that it was a great show regardless.
Introducing SHAMU!!
Doing some break dancing spins

The 3 whales in the show. This was an absolutely amazing show...even though it was pouring rain AGAIN. It is mind boggling that the trainers are able to teach these magnificent creatures to do what they do. The flips, the splashes, the poses...It's awesome. I am so glad that we included this as part of our journey!!

Happy Birthday to you...

Harley giving Kevin his birthday cake

My Magical Moment...

Before Splash Mountain

After Splash Mountain

I know, I know it is terrible that I find this one of the most memorable moments but honestly...My poor little man wasn't really sure what to think to start with, then when he realized that we were going to drop down the mountain he was terrified!! On our last day we re-rode the rides that the kids like best and for nothing could we get Stratt back on Splash Mountain. Not even for cotton candy!! It is so sad that it is soooo CUTE!! Love you little Stratt-man!!

Disneyland Here we CoMe!!

We have been talking about taking the kids to Disneyland for the past few years. Finally I just booked the trip so that the talking would quit...All I can say is that this was one of the BEST decisions that I have ever made for my family!! There is NOTHING better than time away from reality to focus on nothing but our own little family. We all had the BEST time ever! :0)
Harley and the boys in the car on our way to the airport. The boys were super stoked. Harley, well she's Harley....(most of you know what I mean)Stratty patiently waiting at the airport.

Stratty gets a facial...

She used WHAT!?!?

Well, Tucker had a loose tooth and the girls were over and would you believe that Shayna talked Tucker into allowing her to pull his tooth out???
Yes, do you see those pliers?? That is what she used. I about died when Tucker came into my room and showed me this is what she used and that he had the tooth still in caught between the prongs. WOW!! (that's DISGUSTING!!)
Here's Shayna, looking so proud of herself, and Tucker just glad that the tooth fairy gets to visit again :o)
