This year Kevin actually had the day OFF. I do not think that since we have been married he has had the day off (except when he had knee surgery) usually it is just the kids and I. It was a lot of fun having him around. We spent the day together as a family with family. We started the day out with our annual trip to Lewiston to watch the parade. Then we went with the Foster's and the Golightly's to the Logan pool. It was a nice hot day!! The kids absolutely love this place. We even were able to talk Tucker into going down the slide by himself. He's getting too big! After the pool we came home to let the kids relax and nap while we mowed the lawn and then got ready to go back to Logan for the cruise in with the Stewarts. We sat by my sisters house and watched the cars cruise up and down the road. Tucker and Stratt thought that this was way cool, all the old cars. We then went to dinner with ALL the kids and they actually were pretty well behaved. It amazes me that they were as good as they were considering the LONG LONG LONG day that they had. After dinner we came home and lit sparklers. As you can tell from the picture above Harley wanted nothing to do with them. But the boys, all 3 of them had a blast. Kevin taught them to write words with them. I'll bet they lit 8 boxes of them. We love it when Kevin is able to be home with us on days like these. It makes things easier for me and we enjoy our times as a family.
