Just me and my Dad

Kevin bought the kids a little 90 Polaris four wheeler and he and Stratty went for a ride. He lets them drive, so they can used to it, and he rides. The kids love it. They absolutely love everything about being with Daddy! Thanks Kevin for being so great with the kids! They love you and I love you more for the way that you are with them!

Happy Valentine's to ME!

Kevin surprised me with these great flowers as we were leaving to dinner on Friday the 13th. He made me really mad on his way out the door to the eye doctor and I told him that I wasn't going to dinner so he needed to call our friends and tell them. I knew that really he wouldn't so I proceeded to get myself and the kids ready to go. We went and washed the car and then I dropped the kids off at Jenn's then came home to pick him up. He got back before me and when I walked into the kitchen there they were. I thanked him for them and we left for dinner in Ogden. The best part about the whole night was when Trav told us that he told Nikki that he wasn't going with her because he was so mad at her about some curtains that she gave away!

Frosty the Snowman

Kevin and the boys went out on Friday and built them a big snowman. As soon as he walked through the door the boys were waiting for him in their snow clothes. I was responsible for getting all the parts. I found 2 pieces of rod-iron for the arms and some empty smashed pop cans for the face. I had a smile built out of cans but the dang things would not stay on his face. Finally I gave up and just took the picture. The boys had a great time and the pics turned out pretty cute.

And so we meet AGAIN

Would you believe that Harley lost another tooth!! On Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 she came home from school with her tooth all but pulled out. Kevin was teasing her with a pair of pliers. He told her that it would only take a second and it would all be over. She freaked, as you can imagine. She went into the bathroom and pulled it out. When I walked into to check on her she said "Look mom I pulled it out." Like it was not big deal. We left for dance and on the way she told me that she wanted $2. I told her that that was what she got last time her tooth came out. She said that she wanted an extra dollar for each tooth that came out. I told her that the tooth fairy wasn't that rich. That I would bet that $2 was the max that she would bring. I can't believe that almost one month to date she lost another tooth. WOW she is getting much to big!

My Middle Child

This is my Tucker. He is so full of mischief, pure craziness, motion, and emotions. He tries so hard to be just like his dad. He loves absolutely everything about him. He is doing fairly well in kindergarten and loves going to school. I truly enjoy Tucker! Some days, I will admit, all his energy is more than I can handle but I love the little man to death! This was just a way cute picture and I couldn't help but post it.

What happened to Stick Figures???

So, yesterday Tucker and Stratton were coloring some pictures of the people that they love and this is what Tucker drew. I asked why he didn't draw stick people with bodies and he said that this was how he drew people. I showed him how to draw them and he still doesn't get that stick people have bodies. To me they look like little octopuses. But I love that he has his own idea of how we should look. Life is so simple for our little ones. Now if only we could just slow down and enjoy it with them! :)

That would be Stratton

So my mom called me last night to ask about Harley's dance review and she was laughing so hard she she could hardly talk. She told me that she had been trying to call me for about 1/2 an hour and couldn't get through. Here is why. Apparently she tried to call the house but didn't get through so she called my cell phone, which was upstairs, and this is the conversation that she had with Stratton.
Mom: "Hi, this is Grandma Ana. Who is this?"
Stratt: "Stratton"
Mom: "Stratty I need to talk to you mom. Will you please go get her?"
Stratt: "No, She is downstairs and I have to put my jammies on. She said I couldn't go downstairs until I had them on."
Click - End of 1st call
Mom: "Stratton, I need to talk to your mom please take the phone down to her."
Stratt: "I can't I don't have my jammies on."
Click - End of 2nd call
Mom: "Stratty I need your mom. I will tell her that I needed to talk to her and that I told you to take the phone to her so she won't get mad that your jammies are not on. Please take her the phone."
Stratt: "Grandma I can't. She said that she would kick my butt if I went down and I don't have my jammies on."
Click - End of 3rd call
So my mom gave up. She called my sister Taya because she was laughing so hard and Taya says "Oh, I had a conversation like that with him at 7:00 Sunday morning when he called me and asked me who he called. I told him he called me so he should know who he called. Then Neysa got on the phone and asked if he called and I told her yes. She said that he was going to be in trouble because he gets her phone and just calls whoever she called last."
Finally my mom gets me and is laughing so hard. She tells me not to get mad him because it really was pretty funny.
The best part is that he never even told me that she called. Even when his jammies were on and he was downstairs.

Is it cold outside? (I mean inside)

Evidently Tucker was cold and rather than putting on some pants or getting a blanket he chose to put his coat on!?! I am not sure of his thinking process on this one. Most people would (1) wear pants, it is winter, or (2) grab a blanket. But NOT Tucker! What a kid!!

She did it, SHE ACTUALLY DID IT!!

That's right, you heard me. Harley DANCED her little pants off on Friday, January 30. It was the cutest thing ever. She was giggling so hard that her little face was bright red! We have been waiting for this for 3 years! (I guess persistence pays off.) She has been in dance since she was 3 but has never actually preformed. She would only stand and watch. WAY TO GO HARLEY!!!!
