Happy Halloween 2009

What a day we had... Auntie Taya, Olivia, Katie and Gabriel came up to hang out. We had octopus and seaweed for lunch, played together and had great conversations! We had pizza for dinner and get ready to trick-or-treat. We started around our neighborhood, went to the golf course subdivision, then ended visiting with family and our great friends, the Burbanks. We were all exhausted and couldn't wait to sleep in the next morning. We truly enjoy watching the children be themselves and have a great time. Hope you all had a great and safe Halloween!

It's Carving Time

The kids and I carved our painted pumpkin. That's right, we brought in the ones that we painted a dew weeks ago and carved them up. Kevin was the picture taker this year. The kids were mighty brave sticking their hands into gooey guts and pulling them out. Each one designed their own. We had a great time! And here is the finished products...

Painting our PuMpKiNs!

The kids had been asking to paint pumpkins so we asked Porter to come have a sleepover and this is what we came up with. Mom's t-shirts, paint, pumpkins, and brushes. I think that they had super great time. There was paint all over the floor and all over them. Super great time!!!
