Welcome 2010!!!!

I got home from work on New Year's Eve and the boys came running up stairs yelling "Yea, now our party can start!" We got out our treats and headed downstairs to pig out and watch TV until midnight. The boys made it until 10!! Love that they were so excited and hang out with us that they waited until I got home to start partying.

Stewart's Little Trip Down the Stairs

1 set of stairs... 1 sleeping bag... 1 forgiving behind = Priceless Facial Pictures
Our friends Travis and Nikki Stewart came over for dinner one night and my kids taught their little Brooklyn a new trick. I am not sure what Trav thought but it sure makes a great picture to go with great times and great friends!! Thanks guys for visiting! Come again soon.

Play date & Sleigh Riding

FINALLY it snowed and the air was clear enough to play outside. As soon as the kids knew that the weather was snowy they could not get ready fast enough to head out to sleigh ride. We usually just send them out by themselves but this time Kevin and I thought that it would be great time to go with them. We called the Foster's to join the fun. Dax and Reagan were over playing and joined in the fun too :-)

All Unwrapped

For those of us who are lucky enough to be parents there is NOTHING more exciting than to see pure wholesome joy on our kids's face. There are so few moments that we get to experience this and I sometimes feel that I take them for granted. I can't help but feel so proud to be their mom!! This Christmas I think that my children fared well. Maybe a little too well...
Harley got the American Girl doll, stroller, bed and high chair that she'd been wanting.
Tucker wasn't really sure what he wanted but I think that he was satisfied with EVERYTHING.
Stratton got his "real" guitar that he'd been wanting.

And we can't forget Briggs, our camera shy dog. He got the doggie bone that he always wanted.

He CaMe!!!

Yes, the children were good enough (wink, wink) that Santa came to visit us. Here is sneak peek of what he left for them.

He also leaves a little note to remind that just because he made it this year they still need to be good so he can come again next year.

Gingerbread House

We started a new tradition this year. Building a gingerbread house. Holy these kids could not wait until Tucker got home to build this house. We started early in the day with the foundation and finished up with the final decorations. It was quite fun, I must admit, and a bit messy :-) Love making new traditions and spending great time with the kids!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

While Kevin was at work the kids and I made some Santa Cookies. You know the ones that the kids get to decorate anyway they'd like so that when Santa comes he can fill up and keep on going. This is one of the traditions that they absolutely love. We love to do these things with the kids that they will love and cherish and hopefully want to continue with their own little families.

Harley's Christmas Program

On December 22nd Harley had a little Christmas Program at school. These are a "few" pictures that we snapped up. She did a super fantastic job signing her little heart out. Super PROUD of her.

Where's my camera???

So, the other day I was looking for my camera that somehow mysteriously disappeared. When I found it, these pictures were on it...Love my little Stratt-man!!!
