SeaWorld

So the day started out terrible. Pouring rain. And I mean really POURING!! We were not sure what we were going to do for sure. Do we go or do we not? That was the question...We had to validate our tickets so we decided to drive over the park and decided from there. While I was waiting in line to get the tickets, Kevin and the kids waited in the car and made the decision that we would go back to the hotel and get their hoodies and rain jackets and brave the weather since the sun was trying to come out. I have to admit that I am glad they decided to stay. There was not many people there. Which was so nice ;)

SeaWorld
Penguin encounter
Tucker feeding the Sea Lions...too bad a seagull got it before the lion did. Darn Birds :(
This lion would sit and talk and talk until someone threw a fish to her.
Waiting for the Sea Lion show...Even the pre-show was entertaining!!
A Sea Lion doing one of his many, many tricks
Big ball of blubber, I mean a really really large Manatee!! Amazing!!
Dolphin pool. They would swim right up to you and let you pet them and feed them.
Pink Flamingo's
Kevin being brave and feeding a Sting Ray...no one else dared!!
Harley reaching for a Starfish. Hardly believable (I wouldn't believe it if I didn't have a picture to prove it :) )
Stratton holding a Starfish
The boys waiting for the BIG show
The girls waiting for the BIG show
A dedication to a lost trainer...She drowned earlier in the week @ the Florida SeaWorld :( Because of this tragic accident that show had been canceled the entire week and we were able to see the 1st show since her death. They modified the show to what they called a "dry show" meaning the trainers would not get into the water with the whales. I must admit that it was a great show regardless.
Introducing SHAMU!!
Doing some break dancing spins

The 3 whales in the show. This was an absolutely amazing show...even though it was pouring rain AGAIN. It is mind boggling that the trainers are able to teach these magnificent creatures to do what they do. The flips, the splashes, the poses...It's awesome. I am so glad that we included this as part of our journey!!
